What is a Color Consultation?
Are you painting your home or business? Finding the right colors can be difficult, and unless you want to paint it again, you're stuck with those colors for years. For a nominal addition to the cost of painting, a color consultant to help guide you through the choices.I work collaboratively with my clients to create color palettes that help them feel good where they live. I help with interiors, exteriors, homes and business spaces. I usually work with paint, but I can also help choose flooring, roofing, artwork, and more. Consultations are usually done on site so that I can get to know you, learn about your goals, and see the space.
Every consultation comes with:
- One free 20 minute follow up to view and discuss the sample colors (within the city limits only)
- Color sample pages mailed directly to you, free of charge
- Coupons for permanent discounts on paint and supplies
- Access to designer color kits for Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore, Pittsburgh, Pratt&Lambert, C2, and more.
- Offer advice on which paint products suit your project best
- Offer helpful guidance for DIY projects
- Help you choose the best contractor for your project
- Communicate your wishes to your contractor to be sure things go as smoothly and stress free as possible.
What does a color consultation cost?
$75 an hour Tuesday through Saturday.Notice of price increase: starting January 1, 2012, consultations will be $100 per hour.

Every client and every project is different. Most consultations run between 1-3 hours.
